I had a lot of fun researching and illustrating this mural for the Richlands, NC Walmart. I was actually contacted for this project through Behance, which was really exciting!

The mural depicts a sunny day at Steed Park spent with friends and family. The soldier with his shoes and hat off highlight that while Richlands is a place where people work hard to take care of each other, their land, crops, and livestock, it is also a place where you can feel the sun on your face, the grass between your toes, and be completely present in the moment with those you love.
